INSIDE OUT - Movie Review

Original Tittle:Inside Out
Release date: 18/06/2015
Director: Pete Docter,
Genre:Animation, Comedy, Drama
Argument:
Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it's no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions - Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness. The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley's mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley's main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.

My Opinion:
The movie is great for both adults and children although, it seems as if this movie was not particularly designed for toddlers but for older people I would say more than 8 years old.

The plot line was great and all the arguments are connected there are no loose ends and if you feel sometimes "emotional" this is definitely the movie for you. The characters are different from the ones we've seen before and so is the story. Don't be fool and say that just because this is a Disney movie it has a happy ending, cause you might be surprised. And speaking of surprises, the biggest one is how darkness seems to take over the world which is not bad actually because it has happened to everyone.

Although as most movies at the end,(after the climax) the movie turned to be a little predictable its fun to watch and overall very well done, the animations are great and diverse. The scenarios are very different so there was a great amount of job done for this movie and it's really good.

Thoughts and Recommendations:
Please if you go with a toddler try o watch the movie in the language the baby speaks, otherwise it will be a nightmare for the parent, the kid and the viewers.
Try to carry tissues if you are a sensible person.

Stars:
I give this movie a
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐★★★

What are you waiting for? Go see it in cinemas now!

Day 2 - Of Water and Me.

Today has been an insanely busy day, and I do mean insane. I helped my dad move his office so you know what that means... lifting heavy things, waking up very early and eating very late. And doing this I felt my mouth and my hands a little bit dry, so I searched to find why they behaved in such way cause you know it's kind of ,
strange when something like that happens. And I found out what I had feared most, lack of water was happening.

Therefore todays learning is "signs you are not drinking enough water" I read it in an article on this web page  www.lifehack.org  and it was very helpful. Now, for a start, why is water so important to us humans? Well, water is kind of a big deal in our body, it is the "main ingredient of our bodies" it makes up more than two thirds of our body, without any water we would die! Not enough? How about this, our brain is about 95% WATER! Ok, I think we got the point. Water is very very very important and so... Let's talk about how to see if you are drinking enough water to keep you body moving.

First of all if you are filling like your lips are dry (and if or when that happens use both lip balm and water), your skin fills so dry that you could actually be cut by the weather. Well thats when you need to drink a glass of water or well, a real big bottle. But this are not the only things to have in mind, your eyes, or digestive and fatigue might be there to warn you that YOU NEED TO DRINK MORE WATER!!!!

So thats it, hope you learned something new like I did.
I'm gonna drink some water.
Hope you have a nice day,

Love, Chips.

Day 1 -False knowledge

Rene Descartes a famous philosopher and mathematician once said that to find an absolute truth all the previous knowledges must be placed in doubt so ... I felt kind of weird once I found out that one of the main believes we are taught at school was false and it is as follows:

Sir Isaac Newton did not discover the theory of gravity after an apple fell in his head. Don't get all alarmed thinking that I'm contradicting history. It's just like that game "broken phone" the story has been taught so many times that it could've got a little twisted. But it is true that Sir Isaac Newton discovered the theory of gravity. What is false is how he discovered it.

That apple did not fell on his head, Newton just wondered about the behavior of the apple and so he asked himself "Why should that apple always descend perpendicularly to the ground, thought he to himself; occasion'd by the fall of an apple, as he sat in contemplative mood. Why sh[oul]d it not go sideways, or upwards? But constantly to the Earth's centre? Assuredly the reason is, that the Earth draws it. There must be a drawing power in matter" So there you have it.
Physics teachers, please next time you tell the story, don't tell it as a Disney Fairy tale, thanks.

Thats it.

The Beginning of a new project

Hello there,
I'm starting a new project I call it "The Learn A Day Project" surprisingly enough, it is about learning something new everyday (what a shocker).

Anyway... here are some rules...
- Learn something (at least one thing) new everyday.
- Learn about different topics.
- Share it, cause why should I keep knowledge to myself?

So no matter how silly or weird the knowledge is.. It'll be posted everyday (hopefully).
So thats it.
Ready? Lets start...

THE IB...

If you are in the IB programme, or have ever considered being part of this "opportunity", then this information may concern you. If not interested then, scroll away, and don't worry more posts will be coming soon. (I promise)

So... The IB, know as the International Baccalaureate. But for students it is most commonly known as the "worst nightmare" or at least as "no time for sleep, only IB" or even as... "Cause of death, lack of sleep" Don't get me wrong, the least this article is trying to do is to ruin your IB dreams. I will only give my opinion in this subject as I am an IB student and have made many mistakes which (I  believe) will make your IB student life easier.

First of all, the IB isn't bad, I have been in three of the programmes, PYP, MYP and now DP, all of which have thought me different and yet meaningful things. And I will not regret one single moment of it. What is really scary is how sometimes because of our lack of time and messiness, we get to have what I like to call a "Long To do list" which is (if you are a DP student you may know this) quite long and extremely tiering. For starters, I could blog on my vacations, now that school is back on, I can no longer blog as often as I would like to. So if you are planning on being an IB student, make organizing your time a priority.

Secondly, there is one word you may get familiarized with, and it is.. Procrastination, it is one of the most annoying things in the world. It happens when you've got to much work to do and your mind goes like (...) and then you stare at websites and do other stuff you shouldn't be doing in order to avoid the things you should actually be doing. Like this website http://www.theuselessweb.com go and see what procrastination looks and feels like.

Thirdly, to be in the IB programme not only do you have to be extremely organized and punctual, but you should also know how to speak properly and have a god relationship with teachers, (you may never know when you need their help). Choose wisely your topics of study, know that if you go into any of the ARTS programs, you will have no social life. And always have a planner with you, at all times, you may never know when the homework is due.

If you are like me, already buried to deep in the IB to get out, then "May the odds be ever in your favor" but if you are still wanting to submit yourself in the IB, then here are the advantages of an IB "non sleeper" student.

Please, before you read this, have in mind that great IB students are made, not born, it is not a disease, and yes there are students who have got 45 in their IB, I just don't know any of them.

Anyway, the IB offers great opportunities depending on your IB score, if you do great, then expect an acceptance letter in most universities, and you can actually have incredible results comparing yourself to non IB students. As a matter of fact, you'll have an advantage on most areas of knowledge, and don't you worry about the way you learn, TOK has you covered. Speaking of TOK, when you are asked to write an essay or a paper, believe me, you'll be 100% prepared and when they ask you to stand up infant of your whole class... Well, you'll do great! Stress... Lets talk about how relaxed you'll be because all the stress that one person could possibly handle, well, you can highlight that form your list. You'll be a PRO when all your classmates are WEAK. Oh and about sleeping... Well you will already be used to no sleep so you don't have to worry about that either.

Well, I can't think of more advantages for now, I've procrastinated enough for one day,
more posts soon.

Love, Chips.

"Holidays"

Sorry for my absence, I stayed with my grandparents, but I had a lot of time to think about stuff and to read a couple of books which I will give my opinion in later.
For now, let me share of you a little bit of my vacations, if I may. First of all it began last week, on Thursday and I was very pleased to stay with my gramps, the thing about staying with older people who aren't your parents and who don't have to live with every single day in a year is magical, and lovely. I shared lots of time and learned so many things.
I got to appreciate nature by it's whole and not just by parts...

See, an image speaks by itself. BTW I took this, just FYI, anyway, I also spent time at one of my uncle's house, he has 5 dogs, which I love and I could not stop myself from taking them a picture, so, here they are...

More posts will be coming, but for now, that's all,
have a nice week.
